Ballroom Dance Challenge

On Wednesday, April 15th, Butler students will compete in the Jefferson Parish Public Schools Martin Marino ninth annual Dance Challenge.  Please join us as we show our support for our students that have been working very hard all year long.  The time is 6 pm at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.

Report Cards

Parents report cards will be sent home on Friday, March 20th. Parent Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 4:15 until 6:15pm.


Kid Biz Reward

Over the Mardi Gras Holiday, students in grades 3 – 5 were challenged to read at least 4 articles with a 75% minimum accuracy on the quiz.  Approximately 50 students were rewarded with a walking trip to McDonald’s for lunch.


Ballroom Dancing Showcase

Once again Coach EC with the help of Mrs. Irvin and Ms. Royal put on a night filled with students dressed in their finest showing off their dancing skills.  From the Salsa, to the Waltz followed by the Swing, students from first grade through fifth grade showed off their dancing abilities.  We are looking forward […]


Feeling Buddies Parade
